Wing It OR Get A Wedding Planner?

You may be thinking we are a little biased in regards to this topic, but the truth is, some people can do it on their own and need very little assistance and some people think they can do it on their own and save money but they very quickly learn that the amount of stress, research, and hard work needed to plan a beautiful wedding on a budget is not as easy as they once thought it was. It comes down to one question that should be easy to answer… Do I want to feel stressed out for a whole year and on my actual wedding day about every minor detail or feel so overwhelmed on my wedding day that I don’t enjoy the day (and what it’s really about) OR do I want to give all of that stress to someone else?

Wedding planners have a tough job and they work hard to make sure that you are getting the best rate possible and will be able to find venues that fit within your budget that don’t necessarily come up in your Google search. Wedding planning is all about networking and negotiating and making sure that the bride and groom don’t feel even a quarter of the stress that goes into planning a wedding from start to finish. Planning a wedding is a full time job and when it’s your wedding, it’s even more stressful because you are over analyzing everything and honestly, it’s quite shocking and heartbreaking to see all the venues and vendors that are unfortunately just unrealistic for your budget.

When you have a wedding planner, they do ALL of the research for you and have already made connections within the industry which saves you an incredible amount of time and energy. Also, the vendor discounts that they receive through these connections will ultimately save you more than what you are spending to hire them. Many brides start the process themselves and realize the stress associated with planning your wedding day and out of complete discouragement, they go on a mad hunt for a wedding planner and try to find one still available. Why wait until you get to that point? Your period of engagement should be such an exciting time and it’s sad to think that many brides spend this time in their lives stressed out beyond belief thus resulting in friction within their own relationships. The day of the wedding, you should not be concerned about one thing except making it down that aisle and having the time of your life with your family and closest friends! We are pretty confident that you will be better off not knowing about the minor mishaps that can happen and be easily taken care of by a wedding planner that could otherwise throw a huge wrench in your day because you don’t have anyone there to coordinate or put the “fire out.”

When it comes down to it, if you aren’t in any way involved in this industry, you will end up completely going over budget, settling for something that you don’t want because you didn’t realize all the options available, and you will have spent every day up until that time (both day and night) stressing over every detail that you will have to figure out on your own. Don’t let this consume you and ruin the one time in your life that you get to talk all about you and the amazing wedding day that lies ahead. We want you to look forward to this day and know that it will be one of the best, if not the best, days of your life and feel confident that it will go off without a hitch.

This isn’t an advertising scheme, we encourage you to research it, see what other brides have to say. I promise you, there is a significant difference between a bride and groom planning their wedding day from start to finish and the bride and groom that has someone else doing all of the work for them. It’s nice to know that everything is being taken care of and ultimately at no cost to you. We would love to help you out, so feel free to send us an email or give us a call, and hopefully you will be able to rest a little easier tonight knowing that everything is taken care of!
