What Makes Us Different

People always ask us “What makes you different?”

And after years in this business, it is clear what we are – and what we aren’t!

  1. We are first and foremost, honest.  Not sure if a venue is an option because of your budget?   You better believe we won’t hold anything back when it comes to budget – our job is to find out where your comfort level is – and keep you there.  No one needs to start off a marriage in debt if they don’t want to.
  2. You get two wedding planners for the price of one.  Every email you send gets read by two sets of eyes – so at any moment you could call or email, both of us are in the loop, and happy to answer questions or help in any way.
  3. We won’t make you do anything you don’t want to do. Some planners in the Charleston area will tell you what your wedding should look like, just by hearing your venue and wedding date.  “Your stations will be here, draping here…” We believe that every wedding should represent the couple, plus creating the small details to really set you a part from every other wedding is something we pride ourselves on.
  4. We don’t turn down weddings based on budget.  If you’ve started reaching out to planners, you may have run into this. Some planners in Charleston will not plan your wedding without a pretty hefty budget to work with.  You know what we say?  Bring it on.  Planning a wedding on a smaller budget is a challenge, and we’ve never met one we can’t make work.  That’s why we align ourselves with the best vendors in town that give you the best prices, without compromising quality.
  5. We are enthusiastic, helpful, and NICE.  When we started out in this industry, everyone we met would say “you two are just so nice!” – well we didn’t realize it then, but planners in this town can be downright mean – saying things like “that’s not my job” when everyone needs to pitch in.  The ladies at Fabulous Fête are always team players, and do anything it takes to make their clients happy.
