FAQ

Why should I hire a wedding planner?

Although many brides skip hiring a wedding planner in effort to save on expenses, the truth of the matter is that wedding coordinators save brides money and many headaches when it comes to planning their wedding. Fabulous Fête’s knowledge of wedding etiquette, venues, contracts, vendors, and experience in everything wedding makes us essential in your wedding planning process.

How much does a wedding planner cost?

We charge a no-hidden-costs FLAT FEE for Full Planning. We also offer several packages to suit every type of event, whether you need an Hourly Consultation, for the couple who wants to plan the wedding themselves, to a “day-of” coordinator – Fabulous Fête can accommodate any assistance needed on any sized budget.

What does a wedding planner actually do?

What don’t we do? We are here to assist you at any time during the course of planning for your big day, whether it’s putting together your favors and coordinating the vendors to keeping you on budget and creating a wedding day timeline. We wear lots of different hats, from wedding coordinator, to wedding planner, to wedding director.

How does the wedding planning process begin?

Usually we are hired before anything has been planned and sometimes we are hired the week before a wedding if things have gotten overwhelming! Typically, the wedding process begins with a meeting between us and the couple. We will discuss your expectations and how we can help you during this journey. If a good match has been made, the contract is signed and we jump right in!

What makes you different than other wedding planners?

What you see is what you get.  Unlike other planners who have assistants and interns that show up the day-of to set up and coordinate your wedding – whether it is an email, a phone call, an appointment, or your wedding day – it is always us and never a replacement.  It is important that the person at your floral appointment is the one carrying out your vision, the person at the rental appointment is the one watching the rental truck to make sure everything has arrived…wouldn’t you agree?  Plus, for under the price of one planner, you get 2 of us managing your big day!
