Wedding Trends as of Late - Part Deux
If you watch any wedding-related television shows, read any bridal magazines, or follow any of the wedding blogs online - you start to notice everyone trying to tell us what is "on trend" for this wedding season. And if you are obsessed with everything wedding, as we are, all the trends start to get a bit out of control. That's where our blog comes in - we pick the best (and least tired) trends and share them with you... so enjoy!
Flower Crowns. These are amazing. Not sure if you are a veil girl? You may be a flower crown girl! If you use words like vintage, whimsical, or bohemian to describe your wedding, you could be a candidate for a flower crown. Do you have junior bridesmaids or a flower girl? Have them rock the flower crown too.
Talk with your florist about your crown from the get-go, the flowers used for the crown cannot be overly delicate and need to be able to withstand the elements. Do you prefer something you can keep for the rest of your life? Etsy has amazing artists that create crowns with ribbons, faux flowers, even vinyl twigs!
Circular Seating. Are you getting married outside or in a large space? Are you looking for a unique touch for your ceremony? We suggest circular seating, or 360 seating as it is also called. Circular seating, like your wedding band, represents continuity of love and unity, a circle that never ends! This round seating allows all the guests to witness your pledge of eternal love in an intimate setting, each with a unique view of you and your groom. Ask your wedding planner about creating a round effect for your ceremony, or even better ask us ;-)
The Devil is in the Details. Wedding dresses these days can be so many styles. From tea length and quirky, to full tulle ball gown, letting your personal style come out on your big day is a must. Are you simple and modern or intricate and detailed? Or are you both - you can be! Trending lately is a sheer back with intricate detailing. The sheer back effect like the gown below with elaborate lace and beading really makes your dress stand out from the rest! For the bride who wants it all, we suggest letting your bridal gown consultant know your dress ideas from the beginning of your appointment. Don't let anyone sway you from what you really want in a dress!
